Venkatesan Kalanithi – PRESIDENT

KalOne Of the two Founding Partners of an ERP and Management Consulting Company “Capscient Corporation” in DFW area June 2007.

He is working in the capacity of PRESIDENT and Chief Operating Officer at Capscient Corporation.

He began his career in the information technology industry shortly after his college education in INDIA. He had the passion and dedication to learn about everything he could in technology. An industry that was evolving so rapidly the opportunities were endless, all one had to do was make the commitment to learn and grow.

He worked twenty plus years in Custom Application development and Technology Program / Project Management in a wide variety of business applications for Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes Technical Architect, Technical designing, developing, implementing and managing technology solutions in various business processes. One of his strength is working in a multi culture environment due to his experience in various countries around the world.

Mr. Morgan and Mr. Kalanithi met while both working at Whittman-Hart in 1997. They collaborated on several customers and contributed to an internal project to create a proprietary methodology named Wave.

In 2003, Mr. Kalanithi decided to return to independent consulting. This allowed him to control his travel schedule and pick the best projects to work. He served in the role of JD Edwards Technical Developer, Application Specialist and Project Manager for his customers. He and Mr. Morgan began working together on customer projects in 2003 when the concept of Capscient was born.

Michael Morgan – Chief Executive officer

MikeOne of the Founding Partners of an ERP and Management Consulting Company “Capscient Corporation” in DFW area June 2007. Mr. Morgan is Chief Executive Officer where he has brought many of his long term customer relationships.
Mr. Morgan began his career in the technology industry shortly after his college education at Tarrant County Community College in 1983. He began his professional career as a programmer on IBM Midrange computers.

In 1989 he began to contract his services as an independent consultant. As he grew into a trusted advisor for his customers, one of them asked him to assist with a packaged software selection project. Through this process Mr. Morgan saw that ERP solutions far outstripped custom applications in the areas of value and total cost of ownership. This customer chose JD Edwards in 1992 as their best fit.

Mr. Morgan was uniquely positioned to convert data from legacy custom applications to JD Edwards. He then pursued the next step in his career and became the project manager for the duration of the implementation. Soon other customers of JD Edwards heard about his successful approach and asked him to help with their projects. He built a consultancy with a reputation for delivering many project on time and within budget.

Whittman-Hart, a large national consulting firm, approached Mr. Morgan in 1997 about acquiring his consulting company. He agreed and joined the company as Practice Manager where he continued to build a JD Edwards centric practice to twenty-one consultants in three years. Mr. Morgan organized the structure of many projects, including methodologies, team leadership, policies and procedures. He was directly accountable to customers for project success and to the Whittman-Hart Executive Team for success of the practice. Mr. Morgan demonstrated his ability for managing both expectations and delivery on successful projects.
