Director of Technology - J.D. Edwards
Allen Jacot has over 15 years of information technology experience. He began his career as a support analyst for an Enterprise Resource Planning software package. He quickly helped his support organization grow and moved into managing a team of analysts while helping to develop support policies for a new product called OneWorld.
Allen then moved into a consulting role to deliver projects to a large national and international customer base. During this time, he assisted the JD Edwards development organization with enhancing the OneWorld product, which eventually became EnterpriseOne.
Allen wrote his first book on EnterpriseOne titled JD Edwards OneWorld: the Complete Reference, which was published by McGraw Hill. He eventually went on to write another book, JD Edwards OneWorld XE: Using Object Management Workbench, also published by McGraw Hill. Allen also obtained his masters degree in Computer Information Systems in 2002.
As part of his desire to provide customers with the best possible information, he published JD Edwards Enterprise One: The Complete Reference in 2009. This same year, Allen earned the coveted Oracle Ace Award for his work on the Oracle press series and his involvement in the user group community.
In 2010, Allen saw an opportunity to provide the highest level of consulting services and became a member of the Capscient team as the Director of Technology for JD Edwards. In this role, Allen continues to work with an ever-expanding customer base to provide JD Edwards solutions.
