Puneet Mittal has more than 15 years of experience of partnering with business leaders and CIOs to provide software solutions, strategic direction, program management, and functional and implementation expertise. His software experience includes JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business intelligence (BI), Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW), Trade Promotions Management (TPM) and Transformation across multiple industries, including Entertainment, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, and Oil and Gas.
Puneet started his career during the globalization in the mid-nineties as a Business/Functional Consultant, implementing JD Edwards for multi-nationals. Puneet leveraged the combination of his strong educational background in Finance and Accounting and his technology skills to design and implement JD Edwards systems for companies across various industries.
In 2004, Puneet regularly started attending TDWI (The Data Warehousing Institute for Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing) conferences to gain an in-depth education on business intelligence and data warehousing. This enabled Puneet to gain an in-depth understanding of BI, to network with peers, and to learn about potential pitfalls, high risks, and success factors associated with BI initiatives.
In 2005, Puneet volunteered to take on the role of Program Manager-Global Business Intelligence for a multi-million, multi-year initiative spanning multiple stakeholder groups. Puneet led a multi-faceted BI initiative that guided a massive shift across multiple departments and equipped the Sales Planning and Finance management with a customer P/L – a first in company history.
In 2011, Puneet encountered Kalanithi and Michael, who provided him with an excellent opportunity to continue to deliver ERP and BI solutions to a broad range of industries and customers. Puneet then became part of the Capscient Management team as a Director of Applications & Business Intelligence.
