Co-Founder & President
Kalanithi Venkatesan is the President, Chief Operating Officer, and one of the two founding partners of Capscient Corporation.
Kalanithi began his career in the information technology industry shortly after his college education in India. He had the passion and dedication to learn everything he could about technology, an industry that was evolving so rapidly that the opportunities were endless. All one had to do was make the commitment to learn and grow.
Kalanithi worked for over twenty years in custom application development and technology program/project management in a wide variety of business applications for Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes technical architect, technical designing, and developing, implementing, and managing technology solutions in various business processes. One of his strengths is working in a multi-cultural environment, having worked in different countries around the world.
Kalanithi met Michael Morgan while working at Whittman-Hart in 1997. They collaborated on both client projects and an internal project to create a proprietary methodology named Wave.
In 2003, Kalanithi decided to return to independent consulting. This allowed him to control his travel schedule and select the best projects on which to work. He served in the role of JD Edwards technical developer, application specialist, and project manager for his customers. He and Michael began working together on client projects in 2003, and the concept of Capscient was born.
